Sephora Cosmetics from USA

When I was in New York City a few years ago I would see this cosmetics chain's stores all over Manhattan. Like they say, if you can make it in NY, you can make it anywhere. They must be good.

The good news is that they have an online shopping website www.sephora.com.
Free shipping within USA for orders over $75. They also include free samples with your order.

The bad news is that they don't ship to Singapore.

The good news is USlobang.com can receive your Sephora package at our US address and send the items on to you in Singapore. You just need to order from them online and have it shipped to our Los Angeles, California address. We also offer a concierge service where we buy items on your behalf. Please refer to our website for details.

Reason #2: No Seller Protection for Paypal Payment

Why don't some US sellers ship to Singapore?

Reason #2:
Paypal, an email-based payment system, is popular among eBay users in USA. Paypal protects both buyers and sellers through a mediation system. Certain terms and conditions have to be met by the trading partners chief among which is the use of a "Confirmed Address". As Singapore Paypal addresses cannot be "confirmed" for US sellers, this removes seller protection.

Thus some US eBay sellers choose to sell to only Paypal "confirmed addresses" in USA.

United States to issue Star Wars Postage Stamps

The United States Postal Service (USPS) will issue postage stamps this year carrying the theme of Star Wars. The stamps will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the first Star Wars movie. In the run-up to this event, USPS deployed 400 postboxes disguised as the robot R2D2.

As for the stamps, 15 new 41-cent postage stamps, with images of Luke Skywalker, Yoda and Darth Vader, were unveiled. The USPS is also inviting the public to vote on its favorite stamp. The stamp receiving the most votes will be honored with the issuance of a single stamp, which will be on sale later this summer. Customers can vote online at uspsjedimaster.com through May 23. The winning stamp will be announced at the first-day-of-issue ceremony on May 25.

USlobang.com is offering a special service for Star Wars fans in Singapore. For just SG$2.99, we can send two Star Wars stamps of your choice as postage on an envelope from Los Angeles California, the home of Hollywood. Of course, we can only start mailing your envelope after May 25. Please email us at info@uslobang.com for more details.

Coach Bags Direct from USA Anyone ?

Coach, the American luxury brand offering ladies handbags, is very popular in Singapore where it has retail outlets. They have a USA-based online shopping site Coach dot com. I am told that not all items listed on Coach.com are available in local outlets. They will also not ship to Singapore as they have a presence here.

USlobang.com to the rescue. We can purchase your Coach items and send them to you in Singapore or to your gift recipient anywhere in the word.

Reason #1: More Effort to Ship Internationally

Why don't some US sellers ship to Singapore?

Reason#1: Shipping internationally requires more effort: Filling in customs forms, looking up postage rates, abiding by export and import laws, etc. A successful seller operating within USA may feel, legitimately, that it is not worth it to go international.

What is a "lobang" ?

My web site's name is USlobang.com, which is read as U.S. lobang dot com. A US lobang ? Born & bred Singaporeans know what a "lobang" is, pronounced "low-bung". Newcomers & expatriates may not have a clue. It is a Malay word meaning hole and is used to imply connections or opportunity.

Examples:

(English): Hey John, do you have any connections in Citibank to get me a job ?

(Singlish): Eh Ahmad, I want to work in Citibank. You got lobang there or not ?

We have a lobang in USA which you can use for online shopping and eBay USA bidding. We can arrange to ship your goods to you in Singapore or anywhere in the world via the Unites States Postal Service.
